Sacrifice is needed in order for the whole universe to work.

Just before starting my experience, I was reading the Bhagavadgita. It says:

"Living Entities come into being from food, food is produced from rainfall, rainfall occurs from the performance of sacrifice unto the Supreme Lord, the performance of sacrifice unto the Supreme Lord originates from prescribed vedic activities."

The italian translation translates "vedic activities" with the word "rites".

What will soon happen will be that we won't need to sacrifice any human life anymore. We'll find a solution to this. A free energy possibly.
Until then, sacrifice is needed, for the law of yin and yang is still active and working.
Yin and Yang is the only law.

However, the mushroom god says we have to keep cool, be ready to strike, and be confident we will win in the end.

Love, Peace, Co-Creation, Happyness.

The wave

<img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; They have been very different experiences.

The first one, very peculiar, took place with my girlfriend ina beautiful natural park, beside the lake's shore. The dosage was quite low becauuse it was the first time we tried the sacred medicine in an open space, in the nature.
The whole experience has been very pleasant, the nature is so beautiful. We have been slightly reckless though, because we took it during late afternoon, therefore at a certain point the night was approaching... and we were a bit scared, no electic light there!!
We knew where we were but got a bit confused, everything getting so dark... fast! Luckily we met an english couple who took us safely towards the nearest village, I wonder if they nnoticed we where a little... weird. I'm not sure they noticed though, because of the language barrier, english is not my mother tongue so I am always a bit hesitating when speaking... however, they took us to this village, passing though an old celtic cemetery... it was very atmospheric, and the couple was so cool.
As a first outdoor experience it has been quite intense... I loved it.

The second experience was just last night. We stayed at home, and passed through very differnt emotions, happiness and despair, as usual. I learned a lot about my current love relation, and my partner too.
We learned the relation is solid yet fragile. It becomes fragile if we don't think about how lucky we are, if we take things for granted, if we get stuck in a habit; we need an equilibrium in the relationship, an equilibrium that goes waaaay beyond habit, an equilibrium that bases itself on our differences.
Last night's teachings have been very important for the two of us.
Never take anything for granted, always work to get better, never rest. It is so important.

Weird Dreams Anyone?

Lately I am having very weird dreams. Ahahahah can you imagine that? :D
It could never happen.

So, because of their greed and their hypocrisy, we're going to win.

How great would that be?

Just a few years more... we need a real AI then everything will be allright... I'm optimistic.

Better later than never...

It looks like, at last, scientific official researchers are coming to the same conclusions the psychedelic community got some 40 years ago (which is ages ago).
"Using unusually rigorous scientific conditions and measures, Johns Hopkins researchers have shown that the active agent in "sacred mushrooms" can induce mystical/spiritual experiences descriptively identical to spontaneous ones people have reported for centuries..."

For a link to the full article and to reference papers go here (and while you are at it, make sure to subscibe to the matrixmasters podcasts):

Scientists Show Hallucinogen in Mushrooms Creates Universal Mystical experience

Now, if you are a psychedelic head, chances are these documents will tell you pretty "old news". I don't want to go new age here, but it's a fact that the Hopi and the Mayan too, set the end of their calendars on 21st of December 2012... plus, Terence McKenna (r.i.p.) with his Novelty theory found out something similar and in a much more "psychedelic" way... he found out everything is accelerating at an increasing pace, and also found out that in 21st of December 2012 something will profoundly change the way we experience reality and time.
The difference with Ray Kurzweil is Ray is a famous and trusted scientist that can release a well written book, easy to read, full of examples. Terence also was easy to read, wrote well written book, and provided examples, but was not famous and most of all not trusted by the scientific community. Kurzweil definitely is.
But I don't want to digress too much.

In his book, Kurzweil uses lots of data and examples to convince the reader about how "everything" (what McKenna called Novelty and what kurzweil might call Pattern Complexity) is accelerating at an increasing (exponential) rate.
He states that in 2014 (i'd say it might be 2012 - just to make everything nice and perfect) the acceleration will be visible and our old schemes for forecasting the future will not apply anymore.
If at the moment we are probably just starting to get the feeling that something "isn't right", that things are flowing too fast, well, we better sit tight because its' just the beginning.

Any exponential curve starts very slowly, not-distinguishable from a linear progression, as you cans see from this picture here.
But at a certain point, called the "knee of the curve", there is a dramatic acceleration. Kurzweil states we are reaching the knee, we should get there by 2014. At that moment, we should be able to see the singularity, and all those old old human schemes should, finally and hopefully, brake down.

The technological singularity is an AI (artificial intelligence) probably linked with our biological brain.
Pure intelligence.
Bio-machines pushing forward all boundaries.
An intelligence far greater than ours.
I guess all this could begin with the invention of a machine that can pass the Turing test.

Kurzweil goes as far as speculating that this technological singularity will spread from earth to the whole universe. If speed of light can be surpassed it might happen very very fast.

I know this sounds incredible but... I really think (and hope) that's what going to happen.
We are ready, aren't we? And not afraid at all.

Have fun & take care
Alex

Now, some links (but wikipedia has it all)
Terence McKenna Novelty theory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novelty_Theory
Ray Kurzweil: http://www.kurzweilai.net
Singularity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technological_singularity
Turing test: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turing_Test

The Singularity Summit @ Stanford

I think one of the biggest "ideas" at the moment, is the concept of Singularity.
Recently a conference has been held at Stanford University about this subject. I think that if we take this for granted, we can find out most of the solutions to our problems are already there, waiting to be noticed.

We have an issue with our cognitive processes. We are used to linear thinking, and linear thinking is no good. Not anymore at least.

Linear thinking as OPPOSITE to fractal thinking. You could also call it psychedelic thinking I guess, but let's stick to the "fractal" definition, I think it gives more the idea of what this is all about.

I really am convinced that the fractal theory can bring all theories together... yoga, tantra, Buddhism, western philosophies, you name it. The fractal has the answer. This might be what the 2012 is all about. A change in the cognitive process. The understanding of the fractal nature of ALL.

A relatively simple shift in our way of thinking, would lead to a complete de-re-construction of the way we experience reality. Our perception of the time/space dimensions would widen; time would not be seen as a straight line anymore, unfolding possibilities unknown before.
Possibly, we would notice the existence of different dimensions too.

I came to this conclusion after noticing how the fractal repeat itself in such a manner that it makes it impossible NOT to notice it. I mean, the way my body gives me signals when it is sick, the way the world gives us signals of its sickness... the way electrons revolve around the nucleus , the way planets revolve around stars... the way a a full moon cycle lasts 4 weeks, just like the women's period... moon=woman, sun=man... and everything repeating in similar ways. It is truly amazing.
The fractal has answers, we just need the right question. We just need good questions.

The mushroom

Magic mushrooms (and similar substances, like ayahuasca probably - which i've never tested myself) are a key to the understanding of the fractal around us.
Do we agree about the fractal nature of reality? Have you noticed how everything repeats with the same pattern?
The mushroom speaks to us, and gives us smart questions, the correct ones. Finding answers is difficult and probably impossible.
Good questions are also important, aren't they?
They are the solid base for a good answer.
Which we might or might not find.
I place my bet on the latter option. I doubt we are DESIGNED to understand true reality. Our mind -as it is now - is just not enough, we need something more. We have to go up a notch. Or two.
Will we ever do the evolutionary step needed to understand reality? I doubt this us well. I am certain we will upgrade ouselves though. Only, our upgrade will be a step towards truth, not the truth itself. We'll be able to see more pieces of this huge fractal mosaic - a bit like going from colour blind to a proper colour vision.
Maybe I'm just being optimistic?
I believe mushrooms have helped, are helping, and will help us.
